Rules and Safety

Guests must be familiar with the rules and conditions in “SLAO’s Lilla Gröna” and also with Isaberg BikePark’s own rules. Pay attention to the facility’s signs and information boards. Isaberg BikePark includes downhill biking, the freestyle park, and the pump track.

“SLAO’s Lilla Gröna” is available at both receptions, in the Bike Shop and online.

Always make sure you are able to stop in time if something unexpected appears. Ride responsibly and adjust your speed according to both the terrain and your own skill level. Remember that trail conditions can change depending on the weather.

Always ride new trails in three steps:

  • Preride - Check the trail at a slow pace
  • Reride - Ride through the trail under control
  • Freeride - Increase your speed slightly and have fun

Personal equipment:

  • Full-face helmet: To ride in our BikePark, a helmet that covers the entire face (a full-face helmet) is required. We also recommend upper body protection as well as knee and elbow pads. Protective gear is available for rent in the Bike Shop.
  • Closed toe shoes with rubber soles are required. Sandals or rubber boots are not allowed.

Bike requirements:

  • An MTB suitable for the purpose
  • The bike must have two brake levers on the handlebar. Bikes with coaster brakes are not allowed.
  • Grips must have intact end plugs
  • We recommend bikes with disc brakes front and rear, as well as a suspension fork and rear shock.
  • The rider is responsible for ensuring that their eqipment is in good condition and that the bike does not cause injury to other guests, staff or facility equipment.
  • Isaberg Mountain Resort assumes no responsibility for any damage to bikes in the BikePark, whether on the trails or during lift transport.

Lift rules:

  • Animals are not allowed on the lift
  • E-bikes may only be placed on the seat. Guests must lift their own e-bike.
  • Persons under 125 cm may not ride the chairlift unless accompanied by a person over 140 cm.

Trail rules:

  • Staff may be present on the trails during opening hours—stay alert!
  • Do not stop where visibility is limited, such as over crests, after turns, or on steep sections.
  • It is the rider’s responsibility to choose a trail appropriate to their skill level and to ride according to their ability.
  • Only one person per bike. Equipment such as “Kids Ride Shotgun,” bike trailers, extra seats, or similar are not allowed.
  • Guardians are always responsible for minors in the BikePark.
  • Trails are inspected before the lift opens in the morning.
Trails are not checked after the lift has closed.

INTOXICATED OR DRUG-IMPAIRED PERSONS WILL BE REMOVED!
Alcohol is just as inappropriate when cycling as in any other traffic situation.
