Take a dip in Lake Algustorpasjön, within walking distance from Isaberg. There are also several swimming areas in the lakes around Hestra. One of the most popular places for swimming is the Örerydsbadet (approx. 8 km north of Isaberg). In the Gislaved municipal area there are 388 lakes, but perhaps not all are “swimmable”. Twelve of the lakes, however, do have proper swimming facilities, with landing stages and toilets. You’re sure to find your own favourite little cove if you go exploring.

The nearest public swimming pools are in Gislaved (approx. 16 km) and Gnosjö (approx. 14 km). Gnosjö also has an adventure pool for the smallest children. There are bigger adventure pools in Borås (approx. 70 km) and in Jönköping (approx. 60 km).
